Roskoveci organizes for the third year in a row the Olive Festival and this Municipality aims to turn this area into a tourist attraction.
The Municipality of Roskovec has become the hostess of the Olive Tree feast, in the 3rd year of its organization. The ceremony was attended by Slovenian and Spanish ambassadors who praised the development of tourism in this area.Roskovec Mayor Majlinda Bufi said that the purpose of the municipality is to turn this area into a tourist attraction for both domestic and foreign visitors.
During the ceremony is inaugurated the reconstruction of a 700-year-old Orthodox Church. This was an investment of 10 leks million, which made possible the restoration of St. Nicholas Church in Kurjan.
The Church, built in the 13th century in Byzantine style, is a monument to cultural heritage in Kurjan since 1963.
