Russian spies are expanding their involvement in Switzerland. Their activities are stretched more than in the past, said Swiss NDB security chief, Jean-Philippe Gaudin.

"I can not tell much detail about Russian activities in Switzerland, but it's clear that there are so many more activities than before," Gaudin said at the press conference, Oculus News sources suggest.

"I can not talk about the number of Russian spies in Switzerland, but it's meaningful."

The reason for this addition of Russian agents in Switzerland is because of the location of many international organizations.

"Of what today different from the past, is that the Russians have tried to attack our infrastructure - this is the red line," said Gaudin, adding that it is necessary to increase the number of Swiss spies.

The Russian Embassy in Bern has considered as absurd the claims of the Swiss number one secret service.
