A violent episode occurred with a group of Albanians at the Ipokratio Thessaloniki Hospital today in the early hours of the morning. According to the testimony of the emergency nursing, a group of 10 friends of their sick friend had a debate on treating their friend in emergency surgery.
Among the debate, when the nurse urged them to get out of the emergency, according to this testimony, one of the Albanians punched the nurse on the neck, and all together got their sick friend and walked away.The episode, which is not the only one in Greek hospitals, proves once again the profound consequences of the crisis in the health sector, where the staff is already very limited and extremely exposed to the families of patients who do not have the proper treatment as in previous years, domestic or foreign.
