In the National Ethnographic Museum, dedicated to the national hero Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg (1405-1468), the words of the ancient Greek philosopher Demosthenes lie on Kruja, he says that: the Illyrian people can not be invaded.

The article as been picket and translated by Albanian State Telegraphic Agency.

"Slovenians love our museum," says the director, Mehdi Afiza, who hosts personally  the visitors to the museum, adding that he has hosted two former presidents of Slovenia's Milan Kucan and Danilo Turk.

"Even Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic (Prime Minister of Croatia) visited us andmade some photos here," the museum director says.

The museum was built on the ruins of old CAstle according to Pranvera Hoxha's plans, the daughter of Enver Hoxha. The museum dedicated to the military leader, who knew how to beat the Ottomans, is beautifully decorated and this historic city is just an hour and a half away from Tirana.

Tirana is a very diverse place and this is proven by contemporary architecture, which moves and vibrates dynamically the city.

In the National History Museum is represented directly the post-war Albanian history and the period of communist dictatorship, with documents proving the killing of all those who were opposed to the regime.

Not to be missed is the part showing how they opened the doors and despite the poverty, they accepted a large number of refugees from Kosovo in the not too distant period of Balkan fights with Serbia. While a separate department is dedicated to Mother Teresa.
