El Salvador is another state where the persons with an Albanian passport can travel without a visa.

The agreement was signed by two Foreign Ministers, Ditmir Bushati and Carlos Castaneda at the bilateral meeting during the proceedings of the UN General Assembly.

Minister Bushati and Minister Castaneda signed an agreement on visa liberalization for the Albanian citizens.

The agreement aims at facilitating the movement between the two states. The signing of this agreement will serve as a further boost for strengthening relations between the two countries in all areas of common interest, in conditions when global economic dynamics have reduced geographical distances, thus increasing opportunities for mutually beneficial exchanges even with distant places like El Salvador.

It was also discussed about the current stage of relations and their strengthening, as well as about Albania's candidacy for a non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council for the period 2022-2023.

El Salvador is a small Central American nation. It's known for its Pacific Ocean beaches, surf spots and mountainous landscape.
