Tirana is becoming a hotbed of sports activities. Following the success of the marathon and bicycle race, another major sports event will be organized in the Albanian capital.
About 180 athletes from 15 different countries around the world will compete from 9 to 16 June in the 14th edition of the oldest race in the Balkans, Rally Albania.
The 2000 km long itinerary will traverse Albania for seven days from North to South, starting in Tirana and touching almost all natural and tourist domestic assets.The opening ceremony will take place on June 9 at 20:00 - 23: 00, where all Tirana's citizens will face many beautiful surprises, while the race will be launched the next day at "Mother Teresa" Square at 10 am.
On June 16th will be the award ceremony. This year there will also be also space for the fans of motorcycling at"Mother Teresa square.
All the fans will be able to get to know each other closely with the contestants and the vehicles, and under the sound of an artistic program they can spend an evening among the friends of cars and motorcycles.
