Robert De Niro, the US actor with Albanian roots to open luxury hotel in Tel Aviv

 Nobu Hospitality LLC, a hotel network co-owned by the well-known American actor Robert De Niro, who has also Albanian roots, is opening a hotel and a restaurant in the heart of Tel Aviv, right on Rothschild Boulevard, one of the most luxurious and scenic streets of the Israeli city.

According to the Israelis, Calcalist, the hotel will have 38 rooms, a winner center, a swimming pool, a private terrace for events.

The hotel and restaurant network Nobu Hospitality LLC was founded by De Niro, Japan's famous masters, Nobu Matsuhisa and Hollywood producer Meir Teper.

"Tel Aviv, being a great tourist destination and business, makes it ideal for Nobu's customers," said Nobu CEO Trevor Horwell.

During 2017, more than 3.6 million tourists visited Israel, or nearly 25% more than in 2016.

The first Nobu hotel was opened in 2013 in Las Vegas, while now there are located Palo Alto, London, Ibiza, Manila and other places in the world. The hotel in Tel Aviv will be 17th, and also are scheduled to open in Toronto, Sao Paulo, Barcelona and Atlanta.
