Kosovo Police in Kamenica has been notified by the Family Medicine Center in Kamenica that on May 24, 2018 at 00:40 is brought there a 14-year-old boy, without life signs.
After the initial investigation into the scene by the regional police units of Kosovo Police and the State Prosecutor, is suspected that as a result of the physical violence - the beatings exercised by the suspect - the father of the victim G.B., Albanian citizen of Kosovo, born in 1958, is believed to have caused the death of the boy.
Regarding this event in the offices of the Regional Police in Gjilan, is brought the suspect of this case where he is interviewed in the presence of his lawyer and based on preliminary information is suspected that the event occurred at around 19:00 pm, May 23, 2018 in the house of the suspect. The suspect had kept the victim in the house until at about 24:00 pm and after his health condition had deteriorated, the suspect decided to send his boy to the doctor with the help of his family, but when it was sent to QKMF-Kamenica at about 00:40 am, it was too late and the caretaker could have ascertained that the child is without signs of life.According to the first investigations, it is suspected that the motives of this grave event are because the deceased took the money and spent it without the knowledge of his parent.
Regional investigations are undergoing in order to clarify the circumstances of this shocking case.
With the decision of the state prosecutor, the victim's lifeless body was sent to the Forensic Institute in Pristina, while a 48-hour detention measure was imposed against the suspect, the case is classified as "Serious Murder". The case is being investigated by the Basic Prosecution in Gjilan and the Kosovo Police.
