Parliament Speaker of Parliament, Gramoz Ruçi and Parliamentary Group Chairman of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, are attending the Summit of the Speakers of the European Union Parliaments that is being held in Tallinn, Estonia, where the focus of this visit is the purpose and the guarantee of support for the opening of the negotiations.
The Speaker of Swedish Parliament Urban AHLIN during the meeting with Gramoz Ruçi, said that Sweden and the Scandinavian countries support the opening of the negotiations with Albania.Also, the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament held a meeting with the Chairman of the Dutch Senate, Ankie Broekers-KNOL.
This important meeting of EU Parliament Speakers, as well as the presidents of the parliaments of aspiring countries, comes shortly after receiving the recommendation from the European Commission for the opening of Albania's accession negotiations with the EU and is an important opportunity to seek the support of the parliaments of member countries.
Also in the focus of discussions will be topics such as "The Future of the European Union" and "Europe and Security Protection".
