The Albanian exports to Germany had a significant increase in the first two months of this year, compared to the same period of 2017.
Referring to data published by the Institute of Statistics, the amount of exports to Germany in January-February 2018 reached the value of Lek 2,333 million while for the same period of 2017 ALL, reached Lek 1,613 million.While mineral, fuel and electricity exports to Germany have declined by ALL 97 million over the same period, while the exports of textiles and footwear by INSTAT increased by ALL 569 million to ALL 1,359 million in 2 months.
The exports of "building materials and metals" have increased, as well as "wood and paper products".
Germany with Europe's most competitive economy is the third commercial partner for Albania, while being one of the largest investors in the country.
