Le Temps in 1901, the decisions taken in the Albanian Congress of Naples

 "Le Temps" published on Thursday, May 2, 1901, on page 2, a text on the Albanian Congress of Naples and the decisions taken there.

Aurenc Bebja, through his site "Dars (Klos), Mat-Albania", published in Albanian the full story of the French newspaper:

They write us from Rome:

The newly-held Albanian Congress has adopted the following resolutions:

- The use of the Latin alphabet in Albanian;

- Teaching of Albanian language in all the Italian municipalities - whose population is of Albanian origin - and the spread of Italian language in Albania.

The Assembly voted again against the measures of the Ottoman government that threaten in Albania the existence of language and nationality.

The Congress, before being separated, decided to meet every year in Italy.

A group of delegates was received by the King, who commended them for the efforts made to preserve Albanian nationality and the development of trade relations between Italy and Albania.

The king promised, inter alia, to be the honorary president of next year's convention.
