DEA's action in New York demolishes the network of drug traffickers - among them Albanians as well

A major police operation in the United States arrested of at least 11 people suspected of involvement in narcotics trafficking.

There are also Albanians among them. Gang members had extended their activity to Staten Island, Brooklyn and New Jersey.

In the operation that resulted in the destruction of the drug network are involved agents of DEA "task force", detectives of the New York Police Department and other members of federal and state agencies, took part.

In addition to the arrests, they also raided some flats. The network was run by Medin "Dino" Cosic and one of his members is called Alexander Buci, of Albanian descent.

The accused are Medin (Dino) Kosic, Jasmin (Min) Cejovic, Paul van Manen, Shaun Sullivan, Theodore (Freddy) Banasky, Anthony Francis, Alexander Bucci, Joseph Cucciniello, Kenneth Charlton, Mirsad Bogdanovic and Jennifer Bogdanovic, according to Court documents.
