Serb Doctor Milan Zarubica arrested for producing drugs for ISIS

 The Doctor Milan Zarubica (49) from Belgrade who was arrested Friday in Tetovo for having opened a laboratory for producing amphetamine "Captagon" which is used massively by Islamic State jihadists. Almost 300 kilograms of this drug were caught, about a million and a half pills, which in the black market may cost at least five million of euros, according to Serbian media.

Zarubica is a Pharmacist and Master of Chemistry, and this is the third time he is imprisoned for the production of amphetamine. For this reason he served 11 years and a half in prison in Serbia. For the public he is known as "the king of synthetic drugs".

In the joint action of the Macedonian and Serbian police, apart from Milan is also arrested his cousin Bojan Zarubica (36), his close friend Stevan Klaç (55), and the Albanians from Tetovo, A.H. (53), S. Sh. (40), I. Sh. (52), A.M. (30) and Mr D. (55).

ISIS jihadists use massively the "Captagon" because helps them stay awake and be more fighter and energetic.

"Captagon" is a remedy for the persons with hyperactivity, while it was banned in the 80s of the last century. It is gained by the mixing of phytolithine, caffeine and some other substances.

In the Middle East "Captagon" is very popular. In Saudi Arabia 55 million pills per year are confiscated, which is supposed to be 10 percent of the country's quantity. According to 2013 UN data, 64 percent of the confiscated worldwide amphetamine comes from the Middle East, most of it "Captagon" type.
