Russia wants the Serbian List in Kosovo to block the demarcation with Montenegro

Vise General-Secretary of the ruling party United Russia led by Vladimir Putin, Sergei Zheleznjak, said that Serb representatives in the Government and the Kosovo Parliament should block the demarcation process with Montenegro.

Zheleznjak, in an article published on the party website "United Russia", writes that Serbian deputies who are part of the "Serbian List" must hinder the adoption of an agreement on the border between Kosovo and Montenegro, as "Pravda" reports.

"The entry of Serbs into the governing coalition in Kosovo gives them a real opportunity to stop the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force into the Kosovo Armed Forces, to block the border demarcation process with Montenegro as well as other dangerous scenarios of Albanians," writes Zheleznjak, who is also a deputy in the Russian Duma.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said that the solution to the issue of the demarcation with Montenegro remains the international arbitration because "there are no votes that the current draft agreement to be approved in Parliament".

Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic and Foreign Minister Srdjan Darmanovic said that the border demarcation process with Kosovo has been completed for Montenegro..
