Kosovo does not withdraw the customs tax decision on flour from Serbia

 Despite the threats from Serbia, the Kosovar side refuses to withdraw the decision of the customs tax about the flour imported from Serbia.

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Bajram Hasani, has also warned of the possibility of leaving CEFTA, due to the lack of equality with other member states, Kosovo media reports.

Hasani has announced that will attend the meeting of CEFTA secretariat to be held in Belgrade, where Kosovo will take the lead of CEFTA after the Serbian term.

He warned that other decisions on anti-dumping prices will be taken soon, which are in the final phase of the investigation.

Arian Zeka from the American Chamber of Commerce has sought more control and increase in the number of employees in the department that has the responsibility of anti-dumping measures.

Kosovo is a major importer of flour from Serbia. According to Kosovo Customs data, from January to  October, over 23 million kilos of flour, worth about 5 million euros, are imported from Serbia..
