According to the observers of the Albanian Committee of Helsinki (AHC), the voting process in VCs monitored by them continues.

Preliminary monitoring data indicate that the voting process has generally been calm, while some irregularities have been noted in the procedures followed by election administration bodies at the local level, which indicate the lack of knowledge of the Electoral Code, especially on the part of the Electoral Code ff the members of the Voting Center Commissions.

Also, electronic media has provided announcements for some incidents and a statement of propaganda nature, which is in contravention of Article 77 of the Electoral Code, which deals with electoral silence.

AHC suggests electoral subjects to contribute to the prevention of any activity or attempt that would damage the progress of the electoral process, especially the voting process. AHC suggests to be content and prudence. Potential conflicts can and should be resolved in accordance with the law and principles of the rule of law.

Meanwhile, eligible voters must exercise this fundamental constitutional right without any influence and in a peaceful atmosphere guaranteeing free, fair and secret ballot. AHC encourages the citizens and suggests to the representatives of the electoral subjects that any claims related to the sale of the vote should be reported to the police and prosecution authorities in order to carry out full and comprehensive investigations into their verification./Oculus News
