Kosovo no longer accepts Kosovo Serbs passports

 Bus agencies circulating in Serbia, Kosovo and Macedonia, have been informed that Kosovo no longer accepts Serbian passports issued for Kosovo Serbs - documents issued by the Coordination Directorate at the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs have confirmed the agencies to Free Radio Europe (RFE). 

Authorities in Pristina have not yet confirmed whether exist such a decision.

Kosovo Dialogue Minister Edita Tahiri, told RFE that the passports of Serb Coordination Director were never acceptable in Kosovo because they are illegal." According to her, the Coordination Directorate for Kosovo is an illegal structure.

"The states that have recognized us have not accepted these passports. Also, the European Commission has emphasized when the implementation of visa liberalization will begin to apply only to Kosovo passport holders, but not even for these illegal passports. We have now opened our civil registry offices in the municipalities in the north in order to provide citizens with our passports," said Tahiri./Oculus News
