Albania from 15 to 22 October will host the European Weightlifting Championship for 17 to 23 ages.
This competition will take place in the city of Durres. Within this very important event was held a press conference, among which was attended by the President of the European Weightlifting Federation Antonio Urso.

In the end, the number 1 of the European Weightlifting Federation Antonio Urso after praising the work of the Albanian federation stated that will make the most that the 2019 World Cup to be held exactly in Tirana.

We as a European federation we are confident that this event will be very successful. We also want to organize other events in Albania besides young Europeans. I also want to say that we as a European federation will do everything we can to keep the 2019 World Youth Championship in Tirana."
