Opened the second edition of the International Biennale of Aquarel in Tirana

 Is opened today in Tirana the second edition of the International Biennale of Aquarel. 

400 artists from 60 countries will exhibit their works during the next 5 days at the premises of the Historical Museum. 

Present at the opening ceremony, the Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj said the Biennale has encouraged adolescents approach to art.

400 renowned artists from 60 different countries of the world will exhibit their works at the International Biennale of Aquarel that has opened its second edition at the premises of the Historical Museum of Tirana.

"Tirana is actually a museum in itself. Although today we are in a museum, just if you get out from the door to the museum and see the Ottoman architecture, the architecture of realism-socialist, tha fascist era and 100 years before, the Italians or the modern structures. I believe that so much history packed into so much space is hard to find," said Veliaj in his speech.

While the Minister of Culture Mirela Kumbaro said that this year will transform Tirana in the city of international art.

"We are here today for the second Biennale of Aquarel and in fact we are only at the beginning of the year, Tirana will be the subject of international art and culture.
