The famous German television WDR won "Grimme" on the category for children and young film "Nordstadtkinder-Lutwi".
This film is about the life of Lutviut, 12-year-old refugee from Kosovo who lives with his family in Dortmund. The film authors, Jürgen Brügger and Jörg Haassengier talked about the fear of Lutviu on the deportation from Kosovo, writes wdr.de.The viewer experiences the boy's everyday life, which ranges from an enormous burden of his age and the ease with which children take life.
All this, is consistently designed from the perspective of the boy.
According to the jury, "this gem of WDR's series differs from most documentaries, trying to bring us closer to new biographies of refugees".
The film is part of the Intermediate "Nordstadtkinder", which consists of 10 documentaries that relates to the lives of young people from Nordstadt, Dortmund.
