The National Museum of Photography Marubi in the city of Shkodra is one of the Museums selected for the award "Best Museum of the Year in Europe".
European Museum Year Award (EMYA) is one of the the most prestigious european prices for museums that contribute to attracting audience by giving visitors a unique atmosphere of paying special attention to the education of generations in the sharing of a social responsibility in the context in they operate. The Director of the Museum "Marubi" Lucjan Bedeni said this year's nomination is the most important event of the museum.Bedeni said that the goal is to understand where "Marubi" stands in the international arena.
Bedeni stressed that the main goal wasn't winning a prize in the last stage, but to understand where the museum is in the international arena.
The awards ceremony, Which coincides with the 40th anniversary of EMYA Will take place in Zagreb on 3-6 May 2017.
