Amnesty on the occasion of the holiday season, is expected to include all prisoners, except life sentences.
Sources confirmed for Top Channel that the draft is being drafted at the Ministry of Justice, which likely will propose that all prisoners be forgiven with a year of the sentence they suffer.
There are about 4 thousand convicts that would benefit, of which about one thousand are expected soon to be released.
According to the same sources, the prisoners that is expected to be released are mostly convicted for theft, illegal constructions and for driving drunk or without a license.
This category of prisoners have received criminal sentences ranging from a few months to a year's imprisonment.
