Turkey asks to Albania to forbid Turkish national symbols on Gulenist schools

The war between Erdogan and Gulen has also affected Albania. Turkish embassy through a letter to the Albanian Ministry of Education requires not allow the use of its national symbols at nonpublic schools which functions from years in our country and supported by Fethullah Gulen.

But the ministry after receiving the request has signed a letter addressed to the institutions to not allow these symbols in Fethullah schools. Secretary General of the Ministry, states that it is a normal working and has not to do with any kind of submission.

Although Turkish symbols are used in a number of non-public educational institutions at a time when Gulen and Erdogan were friends, Albanian Ministry denies that fact. Also claims that illegally funding is not true when it comes for the Ministry of Education.

Gulen Universities and schools in Albania shall not use Turkish symbols. This request of the Turkish Embassy to the Albanian Ministry of Education caused a political struggle between Gulen and Erdogan after the coup alsi in the Albanian territory, since these schools are known as sponsored by Gulen. The Ministry of Education considers this a routine decision rejecting vassalage to the numerous requests coming from Turkey.
