The Governor of the Bank of Albania Gent Sejko during a press conference announced that the Albanian economy continued to be growing.
This increase has reflected the expansion of service sector activity, it is mainly due to a good tourist season.
Regarding inflation, the average of third quarter is estimated at 1.9%, increasing thus versus low values recorded in the previous two quarters. As for October decreased to 1.5%.The consumption and private investment have major contribution to economic growth. On the other hand, the expansion of domestic demand has been accompanied by rapid growth of imports.
According to the forecast of the Bank of Albania, the country's economic activity will be increasing during this period and the Albanian economy will return to balance in 2017.
