Stancho Stanchev, a military historian and lecturer at the Military Academy in Sofia stated that Bulgaria has not ever had a plan to divide and share Macedonia between Albania and Bulgaria.
But he told Focus Agency that this idea emerged 15-20 years ago by Ljubco Georgievski, former - Macedonian prime minister, INA reports.
"If I have to talk about the division of Macedonia between Albania and Bulgaria I must say that this idea was not Bulgarian, but of Ljubco Georgievski, according to him in this way the last part of Macedonia would be saved.The military expert says that havind in mind recend developments in this country, Macedonia can become fully Albanian, since the issue of Albanians has been progressive and year after year they are closer to the Bulgarian western border.
