Religious Harmony in Albania,Vatican paying a philately stamp

Religious harmony in Albania, where churches and mosques stand next to them is part of the image on a  philately postage stamp produced by the Vatican.

The Holy See has taken this development on the occasion of the first visit of Pope John Paul II in Albania, on April 25, 1993.

In the background of the philately stamp is used the image of Pope, that of the Church of St. Mary in Apollonia, the statue of Skanderbeg in the center of the capital, a guy wearing traditional vesting and the Mosque of Tirana.

In the face of the stamp is written the name of the Vatican, the visited State and the date of the visit of Pope John Paul in Albania.
