Ermonela Jaho opens the season of Teatro Real in Spain

 The story of the couple comes on September 15 at Teatro Real in Madrid, Spain, with leading roles Ermonela Jaho as Desdemona  and Gregory Kunde as Otello.

Since November 1999, this theater has not seen anyone to bring the spirit of Giuseppe Verdi on stage. Something like that will happen from September to October with a performance of "Otello".

Jaho a few days ago performed in the major concert in Rome in honor of Sainthood of Mother Teresa. Spanish media call her an growing artist that is shining on the world stage, very powerful for roles as Desdemona.

Renato Palumbo will be the musical conductor of the night, and the stage director is David Alden.

Jaho will be replaced later with another artist for this role, but apart from the first night that opens the Teatro Real season, she also comes to this role on 18,21,27,27 and September 30, plus the last night, 3 October.

Her first activity was a concert in Mantova. Then a series of concerts at the Academy "S. Cecilia", competitions, the first opera "Cenerentola" by Rossini," L'amico Fritz "by Mascagni, many characters as Juliet, Susanna, the Countess, Adina, Mimi, Armida etc.  She has performed in theaters "Aligheri" Ravenna, "Picolo", Scala-Milano and many other scenes in the world. She has also collaborated also with RAI television of Italy, Mondovisione, BBC etc.
