A Chinese government delegation, headed by State Councilor Yang Jing, was received on Monday by Deputy Niko Peleshi and other officials of the Government. This is the first visit of a Chinese personality of this level, equivalent to the post of deputy prime minister.
During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the political will to finalize the Agreement on building the Arber Road, to enhance trade and economic cooperation, cooperation in the field of investment, agricultural cooperation, education, culture etc.
Deputy / Prime Minister Peleshi thanked the Chinese side for a 10 million RMB grant for agricultural machinery considering this support as another concrete step by the Chinese side for its assistance towards modernization of the agricultural sector in our country.In the context of increasing cooperation in the field of education, Peleshi, thanked the Chinese side for educational equipment on 5 schools on the framework of implementing a pilot project for learning the Chinese language.
Peleshi informed the Chinese side that the Government has submitted the mutual draft - agreement on visa facilitation for the category of tourists and businessmen from both countries, which is expected to significantly serve the growing number of Chinese tourists and investors in Albania.
