Albanian Parliament approved by majority vote the ratification of the Treaty on the accession of Montenegro to NATO.
Albania is the first country to adopt the treaty.110 MPs of the Albanian Parliament voted in favor of the adoption of this treaty, and there is no votes against and one abstention.
By welcoming the decision, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha said he hoped that the municipality of Tuzi inhabited by Albanians to be constituted. Berisha recalled when the Montenegrin Constitutional Court blocked this constitution of Tuzi as an Albanian municipality.
