Italian tourists rescued by Police after slipped about 70 m into a cave in the Mount of Çika

 Police found two lost Italian tourists in the Mount of Çika, Himare. Yesterday, around 14:30, in a mountain of Himare, Police were informet that two Italian tourists after had a picnic, lost their way to return back. Immediately, Vlora Police services are organized to help these tourists, L. R, 26 years old, living in Ancona, Italy, and P. C., 31 years old, living in Trevizio, Italy.

For this mission are engaged the services of Vlora Police "Delta Force" and "Guarda di Finanza", in collaboration all night, in difficult conditions in the darkness and rainfall and the lack of contact with these 2 Italians, because they phones were turned off.

 Police found them in a cave were they slipped due to the moisture about 70 meters in depth, and are moved from there with the help of ropes.

After their arrival at the nearest point of Himara today, the medical team has determined that the two tourists were in good health and had no need for medical treatment. The tourists are transported in the direction of Vlora with a vehicle of the Italian Consulate.
