US Senator trying to proclaim "Mother Teresa Day" in New York State

 On 17 December last year, as Stefania Falasca announced  on the Italian daily Avvenire, the Pope had approved the recognition of the miracle, attributed to Mother Teresa  and this paved the way towards her beatification on 4 September, 2016.

Albany NY: - Republican State Senator of New York, Mr. Martin J. Golden yesterday by a Declaration announced that is trying to proclaim September 4, 2016, "Mother Teresa Day" in the state of New York, through a resolution which will be submitted to State Senate.

According to his announcement to the press made known that the resolution has been introduced and is being reviewed by the Senate Committee on Finance, to be released later after securing the support, by a vote of the full Senate of the State of New York, where is expected be voted soon.

In the Resolution of the Senator Golden is stated that: "In the name of a life lived well in service to God and to all, I am proud to introduce this resolution to honor Mother ... For years, Mother Teresa, through its establishment of the House and the Organization of the Missionaries of Charity, dedicated only to serving the needs of the sick and the poor...," said Senator Golden.

"An international symbol of hope, the name of her beloved Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, originating from an Albanian family, beyond measure, has made a valuable difference in the world, including our New York city. And she will always be remembered with the House and the branch of the Organization of the Missionaries of Charity, in Harlem, who have been dedicated only to serving the needs of the sick and the poor, in this way we will honor and remember her "Senator Marty Golden said in a statement to the press.
