Ismet Ozel
Ismet Ozel, a well-known poets of the modern Turks, issued an offensive statement about Albanians living in Turkey. In a video published recently online the poet appears in a scientific activity in 2015, stating that Turks should not allow Albanians to declare their nationality, or on the contrary, they should go in their country.

"We need to know who we are, but if there are people or ethnic groups who live in these areas and say they have rights, then we, the real Turks should not allow them because Turkey will be split, in this way is built our nation-state. It's like we sign our loss.I am not taking example Kurds, but Albanians. If the Albanians want to say we are not Turks but Albanian, then my brother, you have your nation state, go Fuck you were you came from," Ozel said.
It is estimated that in Turkey live more than 5 million people of Albanian descent.
