A resident of Struga, Macedonia, has reported to media an unusual event.
At the airport of Ohrid he was traveling to Switzerland carrying with him a gift of a soccer ball with the symbols of Albania and Kosovo on it.
Here comes the amazement.
Authorities did not allow him take on board that ball simply because they do not like it.
Joseph says for StrugaLajm that was said to him that this ball has not the Macedonian symbols and as such can not be allowed to travel."An unusual event that brings back the old times, where every symbol related with Albanians was prohibited.The reasoning was absurd, because that the ball has not the symbols of Macedonia.'' he concludes.
An unusual story for a normal world, but not so strange if you known the behavior of the Macedonian authorities towards Albanians and their symbols.
