Kosovo's Prime admits his brother required asylum in Germany for medical reasons

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said today that his brother has sought asylum in Germany joining the Kosovar migrant flows to the European Union last year. The confirmation came after Insajderi.com reported on Saturday that Ragip Mustafa had sought asylum in Southwest Germany, Rheinland-Pfalz, AFP reports.

According to a document published on the news portal, Mustafa had applied for asylum on June 24, just days before his brother, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, will meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.

"It's true. I have been informed after happened ... that he sought asylum abroad in order to seek medical assistance for a severe disease, which can not be cured in Kosovo", Mustafa wrote on his page on Facebook. Mustafa said that his brother is now in Kosovo and not in good health.
