Turkish Coast Guard Rescues 199 Migrants in the Aegean Sea

These days Turkish coastguard saved 199 migrants escaped, according to security forces.

Turkey's General Staff notes on their website that "143 immigrants near Mughals were rescued on Thursday, while 56 were rescued Friday near Izmir". 

Immigrants from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and many other countries tend to travel illegally through Turkey by sea to the Greek islands, then to go to any of the European countries.

Based on previous data from the UN headquarters in Geneva, from September, the period when the Kurdish boy Ayla was drowned, until now, on average two children are drowned eych day in the Aegean Sea.
