Kosovar film 'Shok' failed to win Oscar but made History


Despite the forecasts and expectations, the British-Kosovo co-production, directed by Jamie Donoughue and producer Eshref Durmishi and Harvey Ascott did not triumphed at the Oscar ceremony, Albanian media reports.

At the 88th ceremony of 'Academy Awards' held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, 'Shok' was in competition with films 'Ave Maria', 'Day One', 'Everything Will Be Okay' and 'Stutterer', while the winner of the latter one.

At 7:00 Klan Kosovo has conducted an exclusive interview with Arben Zharku, director of the Kosovo Cinematographic Centre.

He talks about the great expectations that the film "Shok" had in OSCAR.

"Shok" did not won but won their presence by entering into film history of Kosovo.
