Greek Customs at Kapestica checkpoint will not work for the next 24 hours. Because of a strike held by local farmers, who have blocked roads.
The news was announced by the Regional Directorate of Border and Migration of Korca.
"Specifically, the work will be discontinued, starting from today, at 11.00 until 11.00 the next day, the customs checkpoint in Kapshticë", is written in the official statement of Regional Directorate of Border and Migration in Korca.In this way, anyone who plans to pass to Greece through this border crossing must have to cancel the trip afteruntill Sunday 11:00, this customs point will be blocked.
We recall that two weeks ago, because of this protest the customs was blocked for about two hours by causing long queues.
Greek farmers are protesting against pension reform and a new tax system that Tsipras government wants to adopt.
