General Prosecutor: Corruption in the Judiciary? Health and Education most Corrupted

General Prosecutor of Albania, Adriatik Llalla, admits that there is corruption in the justice system, but he sees also problems of corruption in important sectors of public life.

The head of the central body of the prosecution said there is corruption in the health and education systems, referring to public perception.

"It is clear that the public perception of corruption in Albania lies in most sectors of public life."

Citizens are convinced that there is corruption in public services, in health, in education, in concessions and tenders. Of course, part of the perception of corruption, and not unjustly, is the justice system.
"Moreover, the corruption in the Justice allows the corruption in every aspect of public administration."

"This is the main reason why we should strengthen the justice system, why should be free from political interference and other groups that their purpose is breaking the law", he says to Vizion Plus.

Focusing on reforms in justice, tha number one of Albanian Prosecution insists on a broad consultation with institutional stakeholders and the public.
