- Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi asked again for Albania to be part of the European Union.
In an interview of 100 minutes in television "Rai 1" during the show "Porta a Porta" of journalist Bruno Vespa, Italian Prime Minister stood to the enlargement of EU, stressing that Europe represents a set of values that require union, not bureaucratic confrontations.
He mentioned Prime Minister Edi Rama as a person who insists for Albania to be part of the big European family.
"Expansion was a very good thing. Probably should have seen a little more carefully the details of the process, but today I am favor of Albania. In the Balkans will add to the difficulties if we do not intervene in time. My friend, Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, always reminds us of how important it is of Albania to be part of Europe," said Renzi.
