Foreign Ministers of Italy, Albania and Serbia trilateral meeting in Tirana

Foreign Ministers of Albania, Italy and Serbia are to hold a trilateral meeting on Wednesday in Tirana, Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release on Tuesday.


This meeting aims in exchanging views and discussing a range of important issues  for our countries and for the region and beyond. 


The performance of the European integration process and intensifying regional cooperation in the spirit of the Berlin process and given the Western Balkans Conference in Paris in 2016 and Rome in 2017, as well as issues dealing with the common challenges that we are facing today, will be the focus of this important meeting, whose primary objective will be to strengthen the bridges of constructive communication on the basis of understanding.


This initiative was launched more than a year ago and follows the first tripartite meeting at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs between Albania, Italy and Serbia, held in Rome on Jan. 23, 2015.

This trilateral meeting will be preceded by separate meetings of Foreign Minister Bushati withh Gentilioni and Dacic.
