The Leader of the Opposition, Lulzim Basha stated that the referendum is the right solution for the primary elections. Reacting after Rama's declaration on judicial reform, Basha said that he does not want the realization of judicial reform and he is doing everything to put obstacles in its realization's path. "We do not agree with the draft, because Rama is doing everything to take hold of the judiciary. The referendum will be the ideal solution for the primaries. In this way all citizens will speak up and will decide on the Governance of Rama," said Basha.
