Prime Minister Edi Rama, on an official visit to Turkey, on Friday paid a visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Istanbul, where he was received by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I.
“Today at a visit to the to the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Istanbul to talk with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I about the common challenge facing state and religious institutions in the preservation and promotion of religious tolerance; a vital challenge in our region where Albania has a special role to play,” PM Rama said in a post on his Facebook page.
