 Based on materials and Albanian scholarly studies, Bulgarian scholar Prof. Ludmilla Stankov has undertaken a new study of the Albanian Dialect of Mandrica village (Bulgaria) and published a monograph titled "Albanian Speaking in Mandrica Village".

Academy of Sciences of Albania announces that according to Dhimitër Shuteriq and Mahir Domi (on 100th anniversary of their birth), Academician Mahir Domi and scholar Demetrius Shuteriqi had close collegial relations with  Bulgarian scholars in the field of philology sciences.

The Bulgarian Author considers both these outstanding scholars who are known for their dialectological research on village Mandrica Bulgaria, founded in the early eighteenth century of Albanian immigrants from Vithkuqi, who preservet generation after generation many elements of Albanian folk culture.


Regarding its latest edition. Prof. Stankov expressed consideration and gratitude to Prof. Emil Lafe, for support and guidance with exceptional value.

230-page monograph is expected to be published by the University of Sofia and is a contribution to the further academic development  ties between our countries.
