The Albanian Culture Centre in Italy in partnership with the ‘Pro Albania’ association displayed a stand featuring Albania in the special edition of Italian fair dedicated to sustainable economic development entitled ‘Fà la cosa giusta!’.
The fair was held in Turin on October 17 – 18, 2015 on the occasion of the third world forum on local economic development hosted by UNDP, the US development programme.
Taking part in the fair were a number of companies and organizations from across Italy operating in different sectors such as food, fair and supportive trade, natural cosmetics, fashion criticism, publications, sustainable transport, accountable tourism, vegan food, civil society, etc.
The aim of Albanian stand was to promote Albania as a destination of accountable tourism, a mainstay of economy which is growing recently. It aroused the interest and curiosity of the visitors who had the opportunity to get acquainted with different aspects of current development as well as the main features of Albanian tourism offer.
The stand was also visited by political and economic personalities from Italy and beyond, including the mayor of Turin, Piero Fassino. .
