Serbian Orthodox Church said will respond to the invitation of the Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, and will join the diplomatic war to prevent Kosovo's eventual accession to UNESCO. Church official, Bishop of Backa, Irinej told the "Politika" newspaper in Belgrade, that will ask support from "Orthodox sisters in the world, but also from the Vatican". Irinej said Dacic has rightly understood " the devious intent for the acquisition of Orthodox cultural heritage" with Kosovo's eventual entry into UNESCO.
