Minister of Education and Sports, Lindita Nikolla declared in a press release on Wednesday that children from poor disadvantaged families, those victims of trafficking, those who come from families with members with disabilities and children of police officers killed on duty, will receive free textbooks for basic education.
“All children from families in need will have access to free books for the entire duration of their basic education”, said Minister Nikolla.
She also added that “we are showing solidarity with all the children of police officers killed in the line of duty, so that in addition to scholarship, they also receive free textbooks for the entire period of their basic education”.
