Bulgaria has sent extra troops and armored vehicles in four border crossings with Macedonia. This movement is made to help the Border Police coping with refugees influx.
"We want to increase the border protection," said the representative of the Ministry of Defence, Nikolai Karajvanov, "Reporter" writes.
"A total of 25 soldiers in several armored vehicles were sent to the border crossing with Macedonia, and their number may increase if necessary," he said.
Since the beginning of the year, Bulgaria has has been visited by 15,000 illegal immigrants, mostly Syrians.
