World Bank commits USD 163 mln to Government in financing for 2015 investments

 World Bank will commit USD 163 mln in financing for Albanian govt.
According to a writing published in “Monitor” magazine, the financing consists of IBRD and IDA loans dedicated to the sectors of economy.
The amount made available by World Bank will be withdrawn as a whole if the Albanian side brings to the required levels the projects agreed with World Bank.
World Bank has provided the highest funding to the Albanian govt. in 2014 committing some some USD 316 mln to revive the ailing economy. This fund came as a direct support for several reforms in pensions, social service and a strategy on public finance management until 2020.
