U.S. Ambassador in Tirana Alexander Arvizu has expressed U.S. support for the reform in higher education, as well as the recent decision to close some public and private universities in Albania.
The U.S. Ambassador has welcomed, through a posting via Twitter, Minister Nikolla initiative, considering it courageous.“Albania has plenty of expertise where to lie. Many professors and students do a greate work in Albania. These people merit a system with o reputation that comply with their efforts. We support the courageous initiative of Minister Lindita Nikolla on education reform. Present situation is unlucky and it takes years of persistent engagement. The reform in public universities is much more critic," is written in US. Embassy in Tirana Twitter.
