The works for reconstruction of Tirana’s “Nënë Teresa” (Mother Teresa) square are underway in preparation for the Sept 21 Holy Mass to be celebrated by Pope Francis during his official visit to our country.
The project for the square rehabilitation has been designed by the Institute of Monuments of Culture and is by approved by National Council of Restaurants in 15 July, 2014.
Media reports sey that the square will have totally a new sight. Every element of the square will be removed or replaced.
The deadline of this project will be Sept. 10. State Commission, headed by Culture Minister will inspect in details the process of reconstruction.
